1936 Leedy Marimba - original travel cases included.

Description

truly magnificent tone bars - old growth rosewood. The full tone & sustain sets this apart and puts it among the most exceptional that I have experienced in 50 plus years of marimba playing;
& tuning, repairing; and making replacement bars; and 8 - 11 note marimbas.
Have replaced the bar posts 'isolators' , which had become brittle, with Musser parts.
Would not be selling; unfortunately  have foundation work ( $ !) that must be done on my new 'OLD' house- 1909 -1912- then 1947.
Therefore passing this RARE gem forward. I play daily my 1920's Leedy with nickel plated resonators; &
1972 Bergerault 4 Oct. from low C, with wood box low octave resonators.
