Antique African Copal Amber and Yemeni Siver Tribal Beaded Necklace

This is a gorgeous Antique African Copal Amber and Yemeni Silver Tribal Beaded Necklace. The beads tested as sterling silver when acid tested but I cannot say for certain that they are sterling silver 925 or if they are possibly 850 or 900 as nothing on this necklace is marked. Which is to be expected in an Antique piece of this kind, it was very common during this time period and place of manufacturing to not mark precious metals. This stunning African Tribal Necklace is visually appealing with its rich orange copal amber color that stands out even more next to the muted silver beads. Each of the silver beads are hand carved and have an interesting tribal design to them.  The necklace is in excellent condition with only a tiny bit of the material used to string this antique piece together beginning to show at the top of the last bead on either side. Meaning at some point this beautiful piece may need to be restrung. This is a wearable piece of history that one would expect to find in a museum setting. Perfect for a collector or to use as a unique accessory in your wardrobe. This piece ships in a small flat rate box so that it can be properly packaged to prevent any damage in transit.
