I am listing neat Antique used Firemens Leather Shield Fire Helmet Authentic. The shield has PIERCE 20 TWP. I can not confirm but believe it’s from the Cincinnati, Ohio Fire Department located in Clermont County. The helmet was constructed for three ridge for strength. It was manufactured by E.D. Bullard Co. S. F. - USA. which is noted on the underside including that it’s also Hard Boiled.
The helmet approximately measured 14 3/4” length front to back X 12” across. The inside measures 9” x 7 1/2”. It has the original brown strap that may need updating along with adjustable grey head strap that needs replacement for shipping me cracking. The helmet has the original label but hard to read fine details. This piece is certainly a original beautiful piece and of history that would be perfect displaying.
