Antique Helmet Firefighter Soviet Metal Protective Helmet Firefighter USSR 1950s.
This is the latest model of an metal fire helmet developed by the Central Scientific Research Institute of Fire Protection by order of the Main Directorate of Fire Protection of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. She was presented for trials in 1955, after which they began to use it. They were made by stamping using welding, the inner part has a leather comforter with fixation straps.
In 1973 it began to be replaced by plastic helmets.
