    Description

Antique Sterling Silver Cigarette Case Wave Design No Monogram
    Description:
For your consideration is this stylish antique sterling silver cigarette case with wavy design on both sides. Very difficult to describe the wavy design; almost like a seashell.  Marked inside "Sterling Silver" as seen in the eighth picture. Both sides have a gold wash on the inside as seen in the sixth and seventh pictures. Missing elastic band. Measures about 3 & 1/8th inches tall and about 2 & 1/4th inches across; compared to the size of a ruler and quarter in the last picture. Closes securely. No dents. Very good vintage condition. Weighs about 73.5 gram. No monogram anywhere; no plaque design or spot on the outside where a monogram could go; a monogram would have to be on the inside (and again, there is no monogram on the inside). No maker's mark observed. Please look at pictures as they accurately depict the condition and beauty of the piece except due to the wavy design and reflective nature of sterling silver, the piece easily reflected shadows. Additonally, I am not sure why the last picture (of the piece besides a ruler) came out in such a dull tone. Please ask any and all questions before purchasing. Tracking number will be provided. Thank you and happy shopping!
Jevansco, how come there is no single picture of the inside? How come you had to take two pictures, the sixth and seventh pictures, to show the total inside of the cigarette case?
Good question! (questions?) The hinge is so strong that I had to use my hand-that-was-not-on-the-camera to keep the cigarette case open while taking the pictures. I am not a hand model for a reason, so I did not want the pictures to include my hands. Therefore, I took two pictures, each essentially a half of the inside in order to fully depict the insides of the cigarette case. Hope that makes sense!
