Aurora Tu Series Ballpoint
– For sale is an Aurora Tu series ballpoint in mint condition.  The resin barrel is a shinny yellow accented with a polished chrome clip and fittings.  This is the first model Tu which has the word "Aurora" engraved on the surface of the clip.  The center cap ring has the word "Aurora" on the front side and "Made in Italy" on the back side.  On the cap top you will find the Aurora logo engraved.  The ballpoint is advanced by a smooth push cap mechanism.  The Tu ballpoint uses an international type ballpoint refill which is a Parker type.  The pen is shipped with a working Schmidt P900 medium point refill in blue ink.  The Aurora refill was removed because it had dried out.  The pen measures 5 inches long, the lower barrel is
approximately
3/4 inches in diameter and the pen has a nice 1 oz. weight with the refill inserted.  It is sold with its original Aurora packaging which includes the outer box, the
leatherette
pen box with cream colored lining and the warranty leaflet.  This packaging is the larger premium Aurora packaging measuring about 8 inches long, 5 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high.  This pen comes from a large Aurora ballpoint collection and doesn't appear to have been used.
