Beautiful Players Quality Vintage 60's Slingerland Drum Kit, 3 Piece, New Heads!. Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground. Beautiful Slingerland 3-piece Drum Set; 13"x8", 16"x16", 20"x14. These things are ready to be played, outfitted with brand new batter heads. It is difficult for me to part ways with these, but I needed to downsize my collection. I mostly played them for local gigs and in the studio, they sound as good as they look. The drums have gold and black Niles badges indicating early 1960's manufacturing date, and I believe the Setomatic tom mount was added on in the late 60's. The 3-ply maple shells have the signature reinforcement rings and painted interior that Slingerland used up until the early 70's and gives the drums a warm, punchy tone.No cracks in the shells. Kit comes with all original hardware, and all hardware is in working condition with very minor pitting on the chrome. There are a few scratches on the bass drum from the rack tom rubbing over the years (see pictures). Bass drum hoops are in overall good shape but the batter side hoop is missing a small section of the blue sparkle wrap.
