DUPLEX 20s Vtg Bass Drum TENSION RODS & Hoop Claw Parts Lot of 3 Rare Set 30s

Description
Three tensioning parts from a 1920s Duplex bass drum. These parts represent a rare and largely forgotten part of Duplex history. Patented in 1922, Duplex's J.A. Meyer reversed the idea behind the threading of single tension drum tuning. Supposedly these were less likely to strip, which I'm skeptical of but they certainly look striking.Included:
1x long threaded claws, die threaded
1x thumb rods, tap threaded
1x short hoop claws which the thumb rods fit through
All nickel finish. Threads are 10-24, typical for Duplex in this era. Claws are all stamped "Duplex" and "Pat Pend."
Condition is very good for their age. All threads are good, only very minor bending on a couple of long claws, nickel has not been cleaned and should shine up nicely for the most part.
Price is for everything shown. For sale as a lot only.

Store Policies & FAQ
Shipping Times:
I ship Mon/Wed/Fri mornings most weeks. How quickly items are shipped will depend on the day and time of day that they are purchased. I do not ship on weekends.
Shipping Services:
I'm an experienced shipper and I aim for inexpensive; this usually means the slowest option. I can expedite items on request, at buyer's expense.
Combined Shipping:
I'll always combine shipping on multiple listings.
Please inquire about this if you're looking at buying multiple listings
, as the best way is to make a custom listing rather than refunding after purchase. I refund any significant overpayment of shipping costs.
International buyers:
I ship worldwide. If you don't see a calculated price, contact me for a quote. Be aware that I can only buy insurance for the declared amount on customs forms.
I take no responsibility for items lost by non-US postal services, and I cannot offer refunds in such cases.
Offers & Pricing:
I do not take offers on single items, with no exceptions. I lower most prices slightly every month when items are renewed.
Returns:
Although officially I don't take returns, I'm liberal with the policy. Buyers must pay shipping costs both ways, except in cases with errors in a listing.
