    Description

    This type of iron fire helmet was developed by the Central Research Institute of Fire Protection by order of the Main Fire Protection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.
    It was presented for testing in 1955. Since 1961, fire helmets according to the index "Type M-103-61" after modifications began to be mass produced in the Mozhaisk correctional labor colony of the Moscow region.
