A post from a Gretsch Gladstone floor tom leg bracket, 40s or 50s vintage. Original gold finish, likely from a Birdland kit. A very rare part.
This is a non-threaded post; probably swapped out for a threaded one by the owner of the drum. With mounting screw and washer. It could be drilled and threaded to act as a main post if done carefully.
Excellent condition with Typical plating wear as shown. I do not have the threaded post, or the backing plate.
