Chicago Firefighter Helmet. Lieutenant White Plastic Engine CO. 15 Shield .   This is an 880 from the 1980s.  Tag on the inside reads Jan. 1985.  37 years old. Just like the one on the movie Backdraft.  Own a original piece of history.  This is from 8028 South Kenzie avenue . Chicago  Illinois.  The Wrightwood neighbor hood.  Not seen on eBay before.  The helmet is in excellent condition as you can see.  Very dusty from sitting on a shelf for years.  Has name and number on the rear inside back rim.
Extremely hard to find in this area and condition.  Very rare.  Used a very short time.  Many of the Shields melted or cracked  from the heat and abuse.  Has ear and eye protection.  Pictures are part of the description.   Please ask any questions before you bid.  This is being sold for a friend.  An excellent addition to your fire collection.  He who hesitates has lost it.  Don’t wish that you should have bought it.  Will not last long.  All sales are final.  Payment within three days of end of auction.  I only sell thru eBay.  Don’t asked to end early.  Item will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped priority.  Thank you.
