I have been buying on eBay since 2002 and have had very few issues with Sellers. Most are honest people – like me. But I understand there is always a risk buying online without seeing an item in person.  I just started selling on eBay in 2019 to try to downsize and get rid of stuff I’ve collected over the years. (I also sell clothing on Poshmark and items difficult to ship on Facebook Marketplace.)  I AM NOT A BUSINESS, just a regular person trying to supplement my income, downsize, and re-purpose things I have rather than throwing them out.  I do not buy things just to sell them.  Nor do I sell wholesale.

I do my best to describe things as accurately as I can and take as many pictures as I think are necessary. PLEASE review the photos and ASK QUESTIONS if you aren’t sure about something. I can always take more photos.  I’m not trying to trick anyone or purposely hide flaws. Items listed as vintage and used may or may not work.  If I know for sure it doesn’t work, I’ll put that in the listing but I can’t guarantee everything. Sizes vary so check the measurements in the photos rather than going by the size.  If you get something and it’s not what was described, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me before putting negative feedback out there.

I try to set fair prices, either with the starting price eBay recommends or what I have found through my own research of how much similar items sold for.  If you think my prices are too high, make an offer. Please don’t send me nasty messages about the prices.
If you pay promptly, I will give you positive feedback promptly.  I would appreciate positive feedback back once you receive your item.  Again, if it’s not what was described, please CONTACT ME before putting negative feedback out there.  I can’t make things right if I don’t know there’s a problem. Feedback IS important, so let’s be positive.
And remember,
A BID IS BINDING so BE SURE you want to buy the item BEFORE bidding
.  I have been burned a few times already by buyers backing out or never responding after they won an auction.
DON’T BID if you aren’t prepared to pay for the item AND the shipping
.  I don’t set the shipping rates – the delivery services do.  And I agree, sometimes they seem high but that’s the way it is. eBay estimates the rate in the listing, but the actual shipping could be higher or lower.  If you wait for an invoice after winning, the shipping rate will be more accurate (and often lower than the estimate).  I try to pack and ship the cheapest way possible. And I DO COMBINE SHIPPING if you purchase more than one item.
If something is damaged in shipping, please take photos right away and let me know.
I know that this is long and I’ve always thought people who put things like this in their postings must be negative, untrusting people.  But after being burned several times, I know now why they do it.  I’m a positive, honest person but am also trying to make a little money doing this – if I continue to lose money, I’ll have to quit selling on eBay.
