onvert your bayonet stem style shock mount to the much stronger double shear loop style shock mount with this easy to install bracket kit. Kit allows you to use the more common eye to eye shock on many applications where the proper length stem style shock is not available. Furthermore, many serious off-roaders agree that the loop style mount is much stronger and more reliable than the stem style mount. So many will change to the loop style shock for strength and reliability.
These shock stem eliminator / conversion brackets not only work great for shock conversion, but can also be used for custom shock and sway bar link mount applications as well.
Great for Jeeps, GM's or any other vehicle with a stem style mounting location that needs to be converted to a loop style shock.
These eliminators are designed to work with XJ, ZJ, TJ, YJ and WJ Jeep models to convert the front upper shock mount into a stronger, more common double shear mount.
Also necessary on larger GM lift kits where stem style shocks in long lengths are not available.
