    Description

    This auction is for a Vintage Fire Dept 4 Eagle Shield, Leather Fire Helmet, with no reserve. The helmet shows a lot of wear and can be seen in the 11 pictures. I do not see a makers name on the helmet. The edges of the helmet appear to be worn away, the leather appears light weight and has cracks and surface wear and the back of the helmet is bent downward. The shield has come off of the helmet, it appeared to have been stuck on with black adhesive and is 8 5/8"  tall and 5 1/2"  wide.  The tip of the shield appears to have been repaired on the back side, it appears to support the top of the Eagle's head. I will leave it unattached and let you do as you wish to attach it. Thank you.
