    Description

    Vintage Silver Fibula with Tripoli markings.
    Hand decorated with delicate engravings.  This flat crescent moon shaped piece is a Libyan robe fibula.  Laurel branches are quite prevalent in the engravings.  Measures 5.0" x 5.0" and weighs 92g.
    The hallmarks by the silversmith are from the region of Tripoli, a ship in a crest, a crown and laurel branches.
    CIRCA early to mid 1900's.
