Vintage Sterling Silver Cigarette Case, 116g, Webster Co.

Description

Vintage Sterling Silver Cigarette Case.  A beautiful old cigarette case marked sterling in two places, and also marked with a W with an arrow through it, I believe indicating it was made by the Webster Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, which later became a division of Reed & Barton.  It measures 3" by 4-1/4".  It weighs 116 grams, or 4.1 ounces of sterling silver.  It has a textured surface and a smooth back.  It snaps tightly closed.  In great vintage condition, with a possible dent to the right of the monogram that isn't visible, but you can kind of feel it.  It is monogrammed with an RHS.  The movable holder arm inside works as it should.  Opens properly with push "button" and snaps closed.
